This is the most versatile category of objectives. The wide variety of contrasting techniqes can be implemented using one set of objectives: brightfield, darkfield, DIC, epi-fluorescence, Pol contrast or brightfield, phase contrast, darkfield, epi-fluorescence.

Multi-Immersion objectives are particularly suitable for epi-fluorescence.

Plan-NEOFLUAR objectives are fully corrected chromatically and monochromatically for the focal plane. They provide brilliant, high-contrast, entirely flat images for observation and photography in all transmitted-light techniques. Their high transmittance up to the near UV-range (365 nm) and the use of glass types displaying low autofluorescence make these objectives ideal for epi-fluorescence microscopy.

Plan-NEOFLUAR objectives feature high numerical apertures. This means a high resolving power, combined with excellent image brightness and excellent contrast rendition.

Epiplan NEOFLUAR objectives are available for examinations in incident light.

The Plan-NEOFLUAR Antiflex objective has been tailor-made for reflection contrast.

Plan-NEOFLUAR Pol objectives are available to meet the special requirements of polarizing microscopy.

These objectives are suitable for microscopes with the field number 25, i.e. for the Axioplan 2, Axiophot 2 and Axiotron 2.
