New Axiotron 2 Microscope - Optimizes Microelectronics Inspection
For wafer, mask and other microelectronics inspection, the new Axiotron 2 microscope offers unprecedented levels of performance, flexibility and convenience.
The special features of the Axiotron 2 include:
- All operations are motorized and keyboard controlled for consistent high quality imaging, ease of use and operator comfort.
- Image quality is optimized by the ability to match aperture setting to the application-specific objectives.
- Multiple inspection techniques can be incorporated, including transmitted and reflected light in brightfield, darkfield, differential interference contrast (DIC) and fluorescence, without compromising the microscope's high performance.
- Selection of up to four contrasting techniques is provided by a motorized and revolving reflector turret.
- Power supply and illumination electronics are integrated into the stand, thereby reducing the microscope's footprint.
- Completely integrated electronics allow RS-232 control of all motorized functions.
- Cleanroom design provides enclosed mechanisms with operating controls away from the wafer surface.
The Axiotron 2 continues to offer unsurpassed Zeiss ICS optics, precision mechanics and design specifications for the microelectronics industry. It is also designed for future upgradability with accessories currently under development.
