While waiting at the Zanzibar Int’l Airport, checked through to Frankfurt it is time to see, how much money the local SIM saved us.

According to the roaming cost of 0,79€ per 50kb = 15,80€ per 1MB our blogging endeavor would have cost as little as 11.732€, whereas we payed locally 10€.

Isn’t it time, to think about data roaming?

P.S. To be honest there is is a cost brake at 60€ per month data roaming. Don’t know what happens after the brake, it would however not been possible to report from our once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Thanks Eric from Vodacom, Moshi, Tanzania:-)
