These are the economic line of objectivesfor all routine examinations in brightfield and phase contrast. They feature excellent chromatic correction, brilliant images, high image contrast, and are free from astigmatism.
For standard specimens with sufficient thickness (no smear specimens, for which we would recommend ACHROPLAN objectives), they are also suitable for image documentation due to their almost entirely flat field.

The difference between the ACHROSTIGMAT and CP-ACHROMAT (Clinical Plan) objectives is that the latter have been especially developed for the Axiolab laboratory microscope and should be used in the 18 mm field of view. The CP-Achromat objectives therefore also provide high optical performance in the laboratory where price is a critical factor.

ACHROSTIGMAT and CP-ACHROMAT objectives can also be used for epi-fluorescence applications to a limited extent. LD objectives for routine applications also belong to the category of ACHROSTIGMAT objectives.
