These are newly computed objectives for routine microscopy in transmitted light and for incident-light fluroescence microscopy with excitation in the visible range of the spectrum. Due to their excellent field flatness in the field of view 20, ACHROPLAN objectives are ideal for routine photomicrography.

Excellent image contrast is obtained by using special glass types: the secondary spectrum is almost eliminated.

Special LD-ACHROPLAN objectives are characterized by good image contrast, extremely long working distances and a high aperture.

Special water objectives are required for applications in physiology.
