FLUAR Objectives
FLUAR objectives have been especially designed for applications in fluorescence microscopy. Applications are therefore focused on the qualitative and quantitative evaluation of ion movement within cells. These evaluations can be performed for both slow and fast processes using the
Attofluor system.
FLUAR objectives have been tailored to these applications and to a number of critical fluorescence techniques (e.g. chromosome examinations in human genetics and cytogenetics). The objectives feature a very high numerical aperture and a high light transmittance from wavelengths of 340 nm (approx 70 % transmittance at 340 nm!).
Sensitive TV cameras are increasingly being used, especially in techniques like
FISH (= Fluorescence In-Situ Hybridization). FLUAR objectives feature the appropriate flat fields.
