The Carl Zeiss microscope module represents the optical part of the high performance inspection microscope Axiotron 2. It is a special design for integration into inspection machines where the system integrator provides the sample movement and the support for the module.

In contrast to known microscope heads the length of the module is only 434 mm (without lamp). It can be mounted from the top or the side. In addition it exhibits all functional features of the microscope Axiotron 2 as:

5 position objective revolver, 4 position reflector revolver, iris aperture diaphragm - each motorized.

Programmable lamp control is standard, and a new designed laser autofocus can also be attached optional. Carl Zeiss offers motor focus drive options as well as all accessories of the Axiotron 2. RS 232 for module control is standard.
