Axiotech^vario permits the microscopic analysis of large, heavy and cumbersome samples for which specimen areas did not offer enough space in the past. It offers the same features of the basic microscope Axiotech, but Axiotech^vario also permits the attachment of manipulators for patch clamp measurements and microinjection.

A new feature is the attachment of the microscope to a column. Continuous vertical adjustment is possible.

The modular design of Axiotech^vario allows the creation of specific configurations for an extremely wide diversity of applications. The quality of the new optical system corresponds to the standard in research microscopy. Therefore, high-quality analysis is possible in routine applications with an optimum price/performance ratio. The easy handling of the microscope guarantees its successful use.

The new incident light optics with an increased working distance ensures excellent results in all microscope techniques - brightfield, darkfield, polarization contrast, differential interference contrast and fluorescence. The new binocular phototube provides an upright, laterally correct image. This is especially important for fast inspection on the shopfloor. No orientation problems are experienced. Differential interference contrast is possible with only one prism for all objectives.

Lateral measurements can be conveniently performed with the digital eyepiece measurement device. Measuring probes can be attached for height measurements. With the new video zoom adapter, the standard magnification can be easily set for video prints.

Its variability makes the Axiotech^vario incident light microscope the ideal configuration for a large number of routine applications.

The microscope image of a material sample is only as good as its surface. Sample preparation is therefore of paramount importance.
