The Axiophot 2 Pol differs from the Axioplan 2 Pol in that it features a phototube with four ports for two 35 mm cameras and for large-format cameras or TV.

Its main features include:

• luminous frame with variable brightness adjustment
• automatic operation of exposure times
• automatic multiple exposures
• automatic setting of color temperature
• autoscaling and projection onto film
• alphanumeric entry of coding via notebook
• focusing with the aid of a "focus finder"
