INVERTED MICROSCOPES FOR BIOLOGICAL APPLICATIONS

Overview of inverted microscopes
The Axiovert inverted microscopes with their time-tested U shape ensure outstanding stability and provide a reliable, sturdy framework for the entire optical system. A patented 3-point support of the object stages eliminates the influence of vibrations. As focusing is performed with the nosepiece, the stage height always remains constant. The Axiovert microscopes are equipped with ICS optics. Their LD condensers, the ICS optics and the SI design guarantee optimum image quality and maximum flexibility. All optical contrasting techniques and fluorescence examinations are possible in rapid succession. The entire illumination system can be tilted backward, making work with manipulators considerably easier.

Axiovert 25

Axiovert
The small inverted microscope from Carl Zeiss: compact, sturdy and convenient with a stage height of only 190 mm. The viewing height is variable and the specimen is always in view.
A new feature is the combination of proven ICS optics for brightfield, phase contrast and epi-fluorescence with the VAREL contrasting technique (from inclined brightfield via relief contrast to unilateral darkfield). This means: phase contrast and VAREL in one objective - two contrasting techniques without any need for objective change and without any change in magnification. The options for epi-fluorescence and 35 mm or video photography provide an ideal basis for future applications and round off the functionality of the small microscope.

Axiovert 100

Axiovert 100 is the high-performance, particularly economical inverted microscope for examinations in biology, cell biology. molecular biology and medicine. 35 mm, large-format or instant photography is possible by the connection of a microscope camera from Carl Zeiss - MC 100 SPOT or MC 80 - to a binocular phototube with one or two ports. Instead of a microscope camera or in addition to it, a TV camera can be attached to the tube or to the left-hand side of the microscope.

Axiovert 135

Axiovert 135
The Axiovert 135 inverted microscope additionally contains an integrated port to which a 35 mm SLR camera housing can be attached. In the switchover from microscopy to photography, a reticle automatically appears in the eyepiece: photography can begin immediately. In addition, a binocular phototube with one or two ports also permits the connection of a microscope camera (MC 100 SPOT, MC 80) for large-format or 35 mm photography. Up to 3 TV cameras can be connected to Axiovert 135 for all applications.

Axiovert 135M

In the Axiovert 135 M inverted microscope a motorized nosepiece ensures that the objectives are changed rapidly at the press of a button. The required objective is swung into the ray path on the shortest path possible. This guarantees maximum convenience and simplifies objective change when complex experiment setups are attached to the microscope.
