LIGHT MICROSCOPY / PRODUCTS / STEREOMICROSCOPES

Stereomicroscopes produce three-dimensional, laterally correct and upright images. The objects examined are reproduced in a true-to-life way with an outstanding impression of depth. Their major benefits include large object fields and large working distances. The limits of stereomicroscopy lie at a total magnification of approx. 400x.

Today, we distinguish between two principal design principles used for stereomicroscope construction:

Stereomicroscopes designed according to the Greenough design principle:
    Stemi 1000, Stemi 2000.
Stereomicroscopes designed according to the telescope principle:
    SV 6, SV 11, SV 11 Apo
